Biography
Beverly founded her own business in 1994. She primarily focused on strategic planning and leadership development. But in 1996, everything changed when Bev discovered coaching. She immediately joined Coach University to learn from the experts and further enhance her coaching skills. In August of 1998, she graduated from Coach University.
Bev began coaching business executive and individuals in job transition. She served as Vice President, Director of Professional Services for an international career transition firm. Then in 2000, Bev began the development of Act 2© based on an interest and attraction to coaching people who are considering retirement but unsure about how to approach it in the most meaningful way.
Since that time she has devoted time and resources to the research and development of the program. Bev is enthused about the reception the program is receiving and looks forward to expanding the practice with people who also believe the next phase of their lives could indeed be the most rewarding.
Prior to founding her own business, Beverly was employed by Cass Bank and Trust Company as a Vice President in their sales and marketing department. In that capacity over the space of 7+ years, Beverly had the opportunity to call on owners of small and mid-size companies in the St. Louis area and learn first hand about their businesses, the markets in which they compete and the financial results of their efforts.
For 14 plus years before embarking on her banking career Beverly was in the advertising field. In her time in St. Louis, she most recently worked at DMB&B as a VP., Account Group Supervisor. In her career in advertising she worked with clients such as Ralston Purina (Puppy Chow), Red Lobster Restaurants, Natural Light Beer from Anheuser Busch and various brands from Banquet Foods.
In addition to her coaching education from Coach U, Bev has earned the designation of Professional Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation. Bev is a co-leader in the local chapter of the International Coach Federation and a member of the Downtown Rotary Club (Club 11) and The Forum. Bev is an avid student of yoga.
